The Polytrauma Rooftop Garden is a beautiful oasis of greenery with direct access for the patients from the inpatient unit.  Patients and families are encouraged to visit the patio, to enjoy the out of doors while continuing to have access to hospital support.

The Thomas Jefferson Garden Club recognized the importance of this space and have had multiple work days on the patio to increase the greenery and to provide seasonal color.

This week, the Club visited the Patio and devoted several hours to pruning, weeding and adding annuals for vibrant summer colors to the Patio planters. Many thanks to these dedicated Volunteers!
