Richmond VAMC  has provided a wide variety of Telehealth services to several health care locations including National Naval, Walter Reed, other VA medical centers and Community Based Outpatient Clinics.

Telehealth offers community clinicians an opportunity to consult with Richmond VAMC treatment teams to develop the most comprehensive care plan for the Veteran or active duty service member.

Telehealth will soon be expanded to offer an Amputee Rehabilitation Clinic.  Beckley West Virginia VA Medical Center will be the first facility to utilize this service.  The Rehabilitation Clinical team at Richmond will be utilized to review patient’s case and offer recommendations.

The expansion of this service is part of VA’s Amputation System of Care. Richmond VAMC is proud to serve as a Regional Amputation Center for VA.
