The Voluntary Service Office at Richmond VAMC has announced a new service to assist Veterans and their caregivers called the (Volunteer Home Visitation Program.

The Voluntary Service Office at Richmond VAMC has announced a new service to assist Veterans and their caregivers called the (Volunteer Home Visitation Program. Volunteers will provide support through socialization, conversation and friendship to our Nation’s Veterans.

Volunteers can expect to visit up to three hours; once or twice a week, Monday – Friday between 9:00am – 4:00pm.

Volunteers provide many important functions throughout the Medical Center and in the community to give our patients' the best care. Our Volunteers are closely matched with one of our many assignments and perform a number of services.
