What is VLER Health?

VLER Health is a free and voluntary program to share parts of your medical record with the Department of Defense (DOD) and other selected hospitals over a safe and secure Internet network known as the Nationwide Health Information Network NwHin). We hope by sharing health information such as test results and medications, that we will be able to improve your care.

To Join:


• If you have an eBenefits Premium Account, you can sign up directly online (or initiate a Premium Account)!  https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits-portal/ebenefits.portal?_nfpb=true&_portlet.async=false&_pageLabel=Home

• Print the authorization and the verification forms from the Richmond, VA website at: http://www.richmond.va.gov  OR

• Pick up forms at the Richmond VAMC Release of Information (ROI) office on the 1st floor, in Centralized Registration.

Complete both forms and mail them to Richmond VA Medical Center, Mailstop 136 VLER, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23249 OR bring the forms to the ROI Office between 8:00 am and 4:15 pm, Monday thru Friday.
