CFC Campaign underway at the Richmond VAMC

K9 Alert is just one of the many nonprofit agencies available at the CFC Kickoff to provide you more information about this important service and others in our community.

Meet Ryka and Jazz, two specialized search and rescue dog visitors to the medical center today, for the kick off of the Combined Federal Campaign.When there is a missing person, law enforcement calls the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM). VDEM requests dog teams and K9 Alert Search and Rescue Dogs respond.

K9 Alert teams are available 24/7, free of charge to law enforcement agencies throughout Virginia. K9 Alert is just one of the many nonprofit agencies available at the CFC Kickoff to provide you more information about this important service and others in our community.
There are CFC keyworkers available to help you with pledge cards, provide more information about an agency or help you find volunteer opportunities in our community.

The Campaign goal this year is $150,000,with the theme, “Together we can, give today for a better tomorrow.”

Our hope is that this 51st year of CFC will be the most successful ever!
