Resource Fair for Veterans
The Rural Health Mobile Outreach Team

A Veterans Resource Fair will be held in Roanoke Rapids at the Masonic Lodge located at 298 Roanoke Ave., Roanoke Rapids, N.C. Wednesday, November 7th from 10am-2pm.

Representatives from McGuire VA Medical Center will include the Rural Health team, MyHealtheVet, the Women’s Outreach Program, Health Administration Services, HUD/Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing, Suicide Prevention, the Caregiver’s Support team, the Vet Center and Virginia Wounded Warriors Program to assist Veterans with the enrollment process for VA healthcare benefits and other services.

The Resource Fair will educate and inform Veterans living in close proximity to the Emporia, Virginia Community Based Outpatient Clinic about VA health care. Veterans, living in Mecklenburg County, Brunswick County, Northampton County, NC, Southampton County, VA, Sussex County, Prince George County, and Greensville County may want to consider attending the Fair.
