Volunteers provide many important functions throughout the Medical Center and help make our patients' stay more enjoyable. Volunteers are closely matched with one of our many assignments and can perform a number of services. We will be happy to receive your application or discuss how you can help us in our mission to provide comfort and care to America's veterans. Volunteers are needed for the following assignments: Transportation Network – Van drivers and Buddy riders are needed - Monday – Friday 8:00 am thru 4:30 pm Parking Lot Tram Operator – Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (4 hour tours) Canteen Service Volunteer – assist patrons with meal trays condiments, drinks, etc. - Monday – Friday - 10:30 am – 2:30 pm Office Helper -– Greet Veterans, open and sort incoming mail, assist with filing - Monday thru Friday Emergency Dept. Waiting Room Greeter - Escort patients to diagnostic areas, greet and assist family members - Monday - Friday Community Living Center Visitor – visit with CLC residents and provide companionship - Monday - Friday Front Information Desk Volunteer – Greet guest, provide information, and apply good customer Service skills. Kiosk Volunteer – greet guests, assist with the Kiosk and assist guest to desired locations Monday - Friday
