Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center - Richmond, VA
Radiology Resident Education
Richmond VA Medical Center is committed to the training of future Radiologists via our partnership with the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Graduate Medical Education and the VCU Department of Radiology.
Six full time residency positions are assigned to our Veteran’s hospital. Radiology residents are assigned in two week rotations to the neuroradiology, interventional radiology, computed tomography, fluoroscopy/ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and MRI sections of our Radiology department.
Our facility receives a remote broadcast of the daily noon Case Conference and lecture from VCU to further resident education. Residents participate actively in weekly GI and Tumor board multidisciplinary conferences as well as a monthly Department of Radiology Journal Club.
A list of current residents as well as information on the residency program and how to apply can be found on the VCU Department of Radiology website.
