Tobacco Cessation

The McGuire VA Medical Center staff is dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment services to veterans and employees who are considering making changes related to their tobacco use.

Staff members at McGuire VA understand that quitting tobacco use is challenging. Most Veterans make multiple attempts to quit before finally staying quit. We understand this process and work with each Veteran to individualize treatment. We collaborate with each Veteran to find the most effective path to assist with this process. Available options include group therapy, individual therapy, and medications.
